Given how easy the automatic method is for installing mods, we're only including this method in case you are using mods that are not carried in the Steam workshop for Unturned.

NOTE: if you go into the web console and press ctrl + F and search the term "workshop" no quotes you will be able to find if your server has loaded the mods in as per the image below

You do not need to alter any other part of the config file, the other lines in the config are required for the config file to work correctly.

NOTE: Notice the starting number of the mod id is inline with the "i" in the word File, make sure its exactly like that NOTE: If you have more then 1 id you will need to add a comma to the end to represent a new line.

Make sure the indentation for the mod ID'S are exactly the same as the image above.

Now we can add in your mod ID'S as per the image below.

Fix the indentation to match exactly as the image below.

Press enter so the bracket and the comma go to a new line.

You will see right at the top the section named File_Ids with brackets make sure your cursor is in the middle of the 2 brackets as per the image below.

Click on Text editor where it says Steam Workshop Configuration.

Click on Configuration files on the left handside.

This list won't show the Steam Workshop ID number though you will need to click on each one and wait for the workshop page to load in order to see the Steam Workshop ID number for each mod as shown in the picture above. You can also pull up a list of all the mods you've subscribed to, if you enter the Steam Workshop, and click "Browse", then "Subscribed Items", as shown below. Write them down as you subscribe to them in the Workshop.Īn example of where to find the Steam Workshop ID number for each mod is shown in the image below. If you're going to use the automatic workshop download method described below, you will need to note the Steam Workshop ID numbers for each mod you want to install.
